Have you heard the news? SMPC recently welcomed Bethany Spenn, MS, PA-C, to the team! Bethany is a physician assistant. PAs are mid-level practitioners that receive training alongside medical students and practice medicine as an extension of physicians. Bethany helps SMPC close medical service gaps that you may face.

Although Dr. Jack Sullivan, Jr., our Center medical director, gives the oversight for our medical programming, Bethany serves as a physician assistant to provide clients with women’s wellness care that includes diagnosis and treatment for women before, during, and after their pregnancies.

Bethany had this to say:

“I have been practicing medicine for over twenty years, and I’ve never been this excited! The Center’s environment promotes compassionate health care for women who need our help. It’s refreshing to provide wrap-around women’s care for the whole person…”

What does this mean for you, our client?

Bethany can administer women’s wellness exams for the uninsured or address immediate needs of our clients that have not yet found a doctor. She is a valuable resource for minor health issues such as urinary tract infections, yeast infections and more. If you or someone you know has a need like this, please give us a call. All our services are Cost-Free.

We love Bethany and we know you will as well!
