This summer, we are partnering with Toys for Tots to bring you Christmas in July! If you are an active client with a child or children between the ages of birth and 7, please join us in this gifting to help make your child’s summer extra special.  Click on the link above to fill out the necessary information and reserve your child’s toy. Then come by the Center on the 21st of July between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm to pick up their gift. If you have any questions, please call us at 941-330-2272.

 Pelvic Floor Rehab

Post-Partum Pelvic Floor Education

This is an educational course to learn about what the pelvic floor is, how it is affected during pregnancy, common symptoms and options available for treatment. This class will include anatomy of the pelvic floor and body awareness techniques with demos. Please obtain Physician approval for activity in order to participate in demo portion of class.

 

24/7 Dad

24/7 Dad is a leading curriculum training dads to be involved, responsible and committed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This evidence-based program is an encouragement and support to all dads, whether you’re on your first or fifth child!

 

 
Safe Sleep
For 30+ weeks

A local Sarasota sheriff, who is part of the Safe Sleep initiative, teaches clients the dangers of unsafe sleeping practices. This is the leading cause of death for children under the age of one. After the class, clients will be given a free, brand-new Pack-n-Play to ensure a safe sleep space for the baby.

Tummy Time
For 0-8 months
This class is taught by a pediatric occupational therapist! Learn about the importance of implementing tummy time throughout the day and its affect on motor/milestone development. The instructor will provide hands on tips and creative ways on how to incorporate in your day-to-day routine. Please bring a small blanket and baby’s favorite toy to class.

Dads’ 101/Birth of a Family

Dads’ 101 is a 4-5 week practical course for dads. Our men’s coaches will go over learning how to be a dad from changing diapers, what to do with a colicky baby, and how to swaddle them. We will also go over how to support your significant other during pregnancy, delivery, and beyond. Birth of a Family is also led by our dads’ coaches, who go over beginning steps as a couple, leaving a legacy and more.

 The Behavioral Health teams up to create a space for fun, friendship and intentional self-care, to promote consistent, and beneficial mental health habits.
 

ESL Classes

Anyone who would like to learn English as a second language is welcome! There are three levels offered from beginner and up.

Musical Motion
For Caregivers & Babies 2 months – 12 months

This is a fun, interactive Sing-A-Long activity class put on by Parenting Matters. This class encourages mommy and baby bonding, developing and enhancing baby’s motor, learning, listening, and social skills. Studies show babies who participate in interactive music classes with their parents smile more, communicate better, and are easier to soothe. This is a great way for clients to meet other Moms and create new friendships!
